We’ve got ahold of the press release from the “O’Reilly Auto Parts AutoRama” event, which takes place in Dallas, Texas on February 19th. They have confirmed that Melina is the “headline special guest” on the day, and here is the section mentioning Melina and the details about how you can meet her:

Celebrity appearances will be headlined by WWE superstar Melina and UFC fighter Rich Franklin. Additional attractions will include a toy show for kids, a new Game Hype gaming area, the always popular burnout contests and the cacklefest with a vintage nitro dragster.

Show hours are Friday, 3-10:30 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m.-10 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m-7 p.m. General admission tickets can be purchased at Dallas Market Hall for $14 (adults) and $5 (ages 6-12); children five years old and under will be admitted for free. Discount tickets are offered at Dallas/Fort Worth-area O’Reilly Auto Parts stores.

You guys, I’m not even kidding here. Melina has joined the Tweeting Nation!!! After pretty much stating that she wouldn’t join, it has been confirmed by WWE that Melina has indeed joined Twitter! So if you’ve not signed up to one, get one just to add our girl!

During the last of the qualifying matches of the Divas Championship tournament (Eve vs Katie Lea), Maryse was on commentary, and spoke to King & Cole about Melina relinquishing the championship:

They discussed Melina and her injury and Maryse said she was happy Melina was injured and that it was good for her because now Melina won’t have to get embarrassed when Maryse beats her.

Well seen as Melina was scheduled to lose the title to Maryse, she is kind of right. But at least the original plan of Melina being attacked whilst injured and then losing to Maryse was scrapped for last week! That would be more embarassing in my opinion. In case you’re wandering (and if you’ve boycotted RAW because Melina is not there), the 4 remaining Divas fighting it out for Melina’s title are Maryse, Gail Kim, Alicia Fox & Eve Torres.

Ta-da! I finally managed to get an order in with my good friend Kim, and so we now have a new layout! It was obvious that the only photo choice I had was Melina’s most recent Diva Focus, and I’ve spent the past day or so coding in 3 columns! I think that it was worth it because I think the layout came out really nice. Feel free to comment on the layout either in the chatboard or in this update!

In regards to our plans for the next 6 months- tonight I’ll open the first of the new subsites I’ve been working on for the past couple of weeks or so since the whole injury shindig started, and you’ll be able to access them on the right sidebar.
