Melina makes her way to the ring with a pink & yellow attire that we’ve seen before. Alicia Fox comes to the ring with a mircophone and annouces that she will be at Night of Champions but not as a lumberjack but as the Women’s & Diva’s Championship. The match starts and it ends quickly with Melina hitting Alicia with the sunset flip and scream for the victory.

Houseshow Reports (Honolulu, Hawaii)
I found 2 reports from last night’s Smackdown houseshows in Hawaii!
Melina & Gail Kim defeated Women’s champion Michelle McCool & Alicia Fox with Maria as Guest Referee. As soon as Maria’s music hit, I saw one fan coming back from intermission suddenly sprint to his seat and heard him say, “Ooh its Maria!” Melina and Gail were very over with the crowd, unfortunately Michelle McCool cannot draw any heel heat. The match itself was very fast paced and solid with Melina playing the face in peril before making the hot tag to Kim who got the pin on Alicia Fox.
Melina & Gail Kim beat Women’s champion Michelle McCool & Alicia Fox with Maria as Guest Referee. Quite possibly the greatest divas match I’ve seen all year. These girls can go but for some reason they lack the skills on TV. It’s a real shame because they work so well. I don’t know if it’s nerves or what. Great to see Gail since we don’t see that much of her on TV. Melina & Gail win when Gail pins Alicia Fox with her inverted stomp facebuster.
I do love that Facebuster move from Gail, and it’s great to hear good reports! If anyone has candids, email me (contact@melina-unlimited.net) and i will put them up on the site!
Melina to get rematch in Japan!
Good news for all of our Japanese site visitors- we are happy to report that Melina will be getting a rematch for the Women’s Title in Japan! Downside…Alicia Fox is at ringside. I guess we know what way this is going…!
Here’s a rundown of what Melina will be doing as far as houseshows and signings are concerned in Japan:
- July 07: Melina vs Michelle McCool w/Alicia Fox for the Women’s Championship
- July 08: Melina & Gail Kim vs Michelle McCool & Alicia Fox w/Maria as special guest referee
- July 08: Autograph Signing w/Rey Mysterio (Toho Co., Ltd.) Must purchase Wrestlemania 25 DVD in order to get to the signing.
Yes I did use the Google Translator to get the information, so hopefully this will be helpful (I didn’t see it on the WWE site), so to all of our Japanese visitors- HAVE FUN!

I may not celebrate it as I live in the UK, but I’d like to wish all the American Melina fans a happy 4th of July! As soon as I post this update, the poll for our Summer Blast update will be closed (I hope), and the updates will begin at the top of the hour! Again, this is all down to the fact that YOU fans have made this our best week ever, doubling our average visitors from a bit over 400 to 850! In my clearing out of my computer earlier on last month, I found these 8 outtakes from Melina’s photoshoot with Daniel Garriga! These are in the gallery, and I kept the originals because of the hits they garnered!

Smackdown Coverage (3rd July)

Michelle and Layla come out, with McCool proudly showing the Women’s Championship. Melina comes out with Maria, with a smile on her face. Michelle shouts at Melina about the title being HERS now, but Melina takes no notice and does her entrance as usual.
Melina starts off, and wants McCool to start off too, not noticing that Layla has agreed to go first. Layla gets offense in on Melina, but this is quickly stopped with Melina getting in offense as well. Tag into Maria, and she shows off some new moves! But Layla stops the momentum very quickly with a nice spot of Maria doing her own splits! Michelle is tagged in, and she works on the inner thigh area a lot. Melina is cheering outside the ring. Maria gets out of Michelle’s clutches and tags in Melina, but McCool rushes out and tags in Layla. Melina gets lots of offense in and even knocks McCool off the ring apron! Layla attempts her finisher, but it’s reversed into the Hollywood Call for the win! Melina stares at Michelle attentively…
B95FM Interview
Melina did yet another interview this week, this time on the radio with B95FM. She talks about how proud she is of her man, John Morrison, how she doesn’t have time for the internet (OH MAN!), and the big debacle about her crying after her Draft to Smackdown earlier this year.
