Melina has resurfaced on Twitter! We can all celebrate as she returns just in time for her FCW showing (to which she has promised to post photos of!). Melina posted a new Twitpic to show us why she couldn’t get online. This is of her old iPhone, which she had destroyed! As a result, she wasn’t tweeting or live chatting as much. But now she’s back, and ready to talk to her Tweethearts! She explained the funny situation earlier:
Ha ha ha. I was goofing around with my nephew and the phone flew out of my hand and across the parking lot :p. I had my hand out and thought noooooooooo in my head as I watched it hit the floor. I know!! I wish Duct Tape could have fixed the phone! I was so close to trying but I had to call it. The funny thing is that I couldn’t turn it off so I can hear people tweeting and calling. Wonder what those texts said :p
Oh Melina…I hope you bought a new case for your iPhone 4! I knew Melina was a goofball, but this surely takes the biscuit! It’s interesting to note that a lot of tweets were commenting on her nails! I love that she does crazy nail designs, and if you look closely at some of her photoshoots, it’s something that makes her quite unique! After the resounding success of our first Project Melina, I’m bringing it back, but with a MAJOR difference! Instead of giving her fan messages- you can all do that now via Twitter- I want to arrange for Melina to do something that seems very rare for the WWE Divas these days, but like last time, I’ll need your help.

Portrait Magazine is currently looking to create their first ever beauty issue, and are looking for the 20 most beautiful women in sports & entertainment to fill it out! Here is their set criteria:

- Attitude
- Style
- Career choices
- Charity and Conservation involvement
- Role Model status
- Behaviour

The top fifty most nominated will compete in a poll here at Portrait. Top twenty will feature in our first annual ’20 most beautiful’ article and the winner will cover our first ever Beauty issue. So who’s your most beautiful – the easiest on the eyes, mind and heart?

So how do we link this to Melina? Simple- she fulfils all of the criteria listed, and therefore I think she should get a nod! We’ve all been able to get to know her through her heartfelt tweets, so I think we could help out!

Next question you’re hopefully thinking is, “How do we get Melina into the magazine?” Well again, it’s very simple: Portrait has a form up where we can nominate people, which you can fill out by clicking here, and you basically got to state why you think Melina should be featured. I managed to finally find a video I’ve had on my computer for over a year now, and this is a real treat for the gamers out there! Jim Cornette recalls what happened last week (Melina was on location for a photoshoot), and introduces them as- no joke here- “The Beautiful People” & “The Hollywood Hotties”. As they make their way in, Mercury covers one of the cameramen so that they don’t get the photos of Melina & Nitro kissing! They make their way to the ring in typical MNM fashion (split entrance, JoMo through Melina’s legs). Cornette mentions the large photos of MNM being paraded around the Davis Arena, and asks them about the “billboards”. Mercury explains that Cornette needs to get with the times and that MNM are sports entertainment. He says that the reason why men want to be them, and women want to be with them is between their legs (the OVW Southern Tag titles, of course!).

Mercury then goes to say that they epitomise sportsmanship and have pride in the tag titles, therefore they wouldn’t hit anyone from behind, and that Skyfire & Johnson are cowardly, spineless jellyfishes. Mercury says that would never happen as they are fighting champions. Nitro calls for the mic and says that they are “fighting champions WATCHA!”, and that they’ll give Cornette, Skyfire & Johnson, and the OVW fans what they want-a rematch for the OVW tag titles against them! He demands that fans clear out their schedules and call their moms because the beatdown of the century is coming! Cornetter has the audacity to say that he doesn’t think MNM can beat them twice in a row.

Cue Melina with a message for Seth & Matt- they’re not in the league of MNM. They need tans, and if they want to be champions, they need the look. She points to the billboards and themselves, and states their hot, and you’re not! Cornette wraps up the segment, but Joey tries to pose with him! Melina & John kiss each other’s faces off to finish up!

As the Summer of Melina draws nearer as the days go by, I felt it was about time MU takes a look at the current outlook of the Divas, and where Melina can fit in upon her return. For the next couple of weeks, I’ll take a look at 3 potential scenarios that Melina can become apart of, and today we start with a potential reunion to take down a hot new couple…

The Current Situation: Ted DiBiase has fired Virgil, and has enlisted Maryse to be his new bodyguard. The Million Dollar Son has been fighting against Melina’s real-life beau, John Morrison. Last night’s RAW saw Ted defeat John with help from Maryse…as she interfered wearing JoMo’s jacket!

The Potential Situation: Ted & Maryse (referred to as Teryse) could continue to win over John, and the Shaman of Sexy could proclaim that he’s found someone that can even the odds. Cue Melina coming out with John, and we get a full on Metro reunion! They take down Teryse and show them who the hottest couple in WWE is!

Reasons for This: For one, Maryse wore JoMo’s jacket. That’s a no-go area (if Melina can’t get to them, why should Maryse?!), and this injustice needs to be rectified- who better than the A-List Diva to put the French Diva in her place! Whilst Maryse has taken a background role recently, she could still integrate her wrestling into this, making this possibly the sexiest couple war in WWE!

What did they do to Melina?!
We’ve been anticipating the release of Melina’s new action figure with Mattel, and previews have now come out! Unfortunately, you’ll be bitterly disappointed with how bad Melina’s figure looks. For one- what did they do to her face?! Compared to previous figures, Melina’s face looks nothing like her! Now to the outfit- I’ve never EVER seen Melina wear that horrid shade of pink, and why so low cut? Isn’t this figure aimed at kids?! The packaging is horridly photoshopped as well. I’m not sure whether to post pictures on MPG, but for now, you can check out the previews on WrestlingFigs.Com
