Despite the wonderful gift of hindsight, WWE Hall of Famer, Jim Ross, was asked about Melina’s return. Here is what he had to say:

Will Melina ever return to in ring action? Sources say she’s just about ready to return, but the exact date is unknown to me. Love her ring entrance and her toughness. She was a proud champion.

Special Summer of Melina Scenario

So we know that the Summer of Melina is just 4 days away, and if you read the spoilers, you know what’s gonna happen. But last night, myself, Melina & Sam of Evan-Bourne.Com came up with a storyline that fits the Smackdown vs RAW game series more than RAW! But because Melina had input to this, I thought it would be funny to see what would’ve happened if Melina was in the middle of a love triangle between John Morrison & Evan Bourne (Sam’s dream come true!)

The Potential Situation: Melina could grow a soft spot for the high-flying Evan Bourne after the success of Metro vs Teryse, and they could form a Super team akin to Clark Kent & ~~Lois Lane~~ Lana from Smallville! John approaches Melina asking what is happening between them, thus the green eyed monster coming out in JoMo. Cue a battle of epic proportions between Super Evan & The Jealous JoMo for the affections of Melina!

Who Would Win? See this is tough because Evan & John have such similar styles. It would have to be a case of who does best on the night, and I see JoMo going the distance, but Evan would put up a valiant effort.

However with every story there is a twist….

After weeks of bickering, Melina says to both guys that she’s had enough of them, and runs off with Joey Mercury, thus returning to the blue brand to get away from the drama! Melina shows her “true colours” as the heel (that was Melina’s idea, not ours!)

So what do you think? Could a love triangle be a good direction for Melina to go in? Probably not, but this was fun to update on! Thanks to Sam & Melina for the input in this storyline!

SPOILERS- Plans for Summer of Melina

Some news has come out in regards to what will happen in the Summer of Melina! Thanks to RedHotDivas for the heads up, and highlight the box to view the plan!

Melina made her return to WWE programming during Monday’s television taping in San Antonio, Texas. She performed a run-in following a Six-Diva Tag Match pitting Alicia Fox, Jillian and Tamina against Eve, Gail Kim and Natalya, attacking the Divas Champion. Her return will be televised during next Monday’s episode of Raw.

It was her first appearance inside a WWE ring since she underwent surgery for a torn ACL suffered last December. She spent the past few weeks at the company’s developmental facility in Tampa, Florida training for her return.

WWE creative brass initially planned on inserting Melina into the ongoing John Morrison vs. Ted DiBiase program as means to feature mixed tag matches, but said plans were nixed last week. Instead, she will going after Fox’s Divas Championship. A three-way feud between Melina, Fox and Eve is tentatively planned, though Maryse may be put in the mix.

That’s right…we got RAW SPOILERS for you tonight! RAW is flying out to Australia, hence why they taped next week’s RAW tonight, so highlight the box to view the MAJOR news!!

WWE Divas Champion Alicia Fox, Jillian Hall & Tamina vs. Natalya, Gail Kim & Eve Torres. Winners after Alicia pins Natalya following an Axe Kick, Alicia Fox, Jillian, & Tamina. Alicia gets on the mic and says she’s the best Diva on thee Raw roster. Melina comes out and gives Alicia her Sunset Split finisher to a huge pop from the crowd.

Over the weekend, Melina & John Morrison posted a couple of twitpics of them at the San Diego Comic Con! John’s photo is of Melina with her Mattel action figure (which we still hate even though Melina is holding it!), and I gotta say this again…I WANT HER HAT! The second photo posted by Melina is of herself with John, former WWE star Hurricane Helms, and the sole reason to watch TNA, Samoa Joe! **NOTE- I marked out seeing this picture!** They all look awesome in the San Diego sunshine, so check out the photos!

WWE.Com has been nice to us, as we FINALLY see a presence of our girl, Melina! She hosts a solo edition of Ask The Divas, where she goes around Comic Con and is asked some very odd questions. Example: If I picked you up in the Ghostbusters car, would you let me take you on a date? If you want to know how Melina answered that, then you can check out the video once it’s done uploading on Melivision, but Melina looks great in the caps! Is this a sign of Melina’s return?? Let’s hope!
