Nicole just sent me an email about how the fanbook was received, and in brief- MELINA LOVED IT! She wanted to thank you guys for sending in the messages, and chances are she’s reading them right now. Nicole will be sending her photos and video either tonight or tomorrow, but if you have anything from the signing, email contact@melina-unlimited.net. Melina could be reading this now, and if she is- just know that your fans love you and the fanbook showed it. Get well, and happy early birthday!

You read it right, the Birthday Project is now officially closed. We received a LOT of messages which I’m sure Melina will appreciate, so check in tomorrow to find out if the book was a success!

As we all know, John Morrison’s new DVD, Rock Star, was released on Tuesday in America. We were quite saddened at the lack of Melina/MNM in the DVD, and now we find out why:

Why the change in production? Morrison told SLAM! Wrestling that this was the intended path right from the start.
“It was done by design to just talk about John Morrison. We had talked about including some MNM and Johnny Nitro stuff, but we also talked about doing a career, three-DVD retrospective at some point in the future. I think to cover someone’s career in three DVDs is a lot better because you need all the extra time,” he said, noting it had been a long time since WWE had done a single-disc release.

I told you on Twitter that things will be picking up speed on MU, and here it is! I got an email from a visitor who said she’d like us to help her with a birthday/get well fanbook, and we accepted! Therefore, YOU FANS can get the chance to send a message to Melina for her birthday, or just one of general fandom! There are a couple of things that should be noted-
1) Anything about Melina’s current/past relationships will not be sent
2) Anything asking Melina anything indecent will not be sent
3) Anything about Melina’s reputation/status in WWE will not be sent.
So how do you do this? Well, email birthday@melina-unlimited.net, and stick to a message under 700 characters (that’s 5 times more than what you’re allowed on Twitter). If you have a graphic, please attach it to the email. You’ve got the entire month to send in messages, and we’ll stop the messages on March 2nd to give Nicole time to collate them and turn them into an awesome fanbook! We’ll update on the progress of the book over the month, and we’ll even get a video of Melina receiving the book on March 5th! So…GET SENDING!

We’ve got ahold of the press release from the “O’Reilly Auto Parts AutoRama” event, which takes place in Dallas, Texas on February 19th. They have confirmed that Melina is the “headline special guest” on the day, and here is the section mentioning Melina and the details about how you can meet her:

Celebrity appearances will be headlined by WWE superstar Melina and UFC fighter Rich Franklin. Additional attractions will include a toy show for kids, a new Game Hype gaming area, the always popular burnout contests and the cacklefest with a vintage nitro dragster.

Show hours are Friday, 3-10:30 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m.-10 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m-7 p.m. General admission tickets can be purchased at Dallas Market Hall for $14 (adults) and $5 (ages 6-12); children five years old and under will be admitted for free. Discount tickets are offered at Dallas/Fort Worth-area O’Reilly Auto Parts stores.
