We’re introducing a new feature on Melina-Unlimited, which I have called “SmackTalk”. This is basically an update on my thoughts on Smackdown shows Melina is in, and where I can air my opinions on what’s she done over the week…You can join in too by replying to the post.

THIS WEEKS SMACKDOWN
Melina and her “BFF” Maria were talking backstage. I’ve personally had enough of Melina carrying around Maria as if she were her packmule. I’d much rather have her be a blunt talking Diva rather than a sappy sympathetic BFF to someone who she clearly doesn’t care about. I’m kinda hoping that MELINA turns out to be Dolph’s girl just to get rid of Maria. And to answer Maria’s question…Melina is dating the hottest guy in WWE…NER!

Now to the match. Something was off in Melina’s performance, and I think I sussed it out. Melina has a mahusive bruise on the side of her ribcage (thank you HD), and it looks like Melina took a nasty fall recently. We’re waiting on the moment Melina can finally shut McCool up…God that segment was torture! Michelle cannot get any form of heat on her and no reaction, whereas people care for Melina. I hope Melina gets her match against McCool at Breaking Point with the return of the California Dream.

I’ll add more tomorrow, but you can comment on what I’ve wrote so far.

We told you it was Slow Speed Sunday, and here’s the proof. We’ve been told the blatantly (yet subtley) obvious point regarding Melina’s popularity within WWE. This is all thanks to the reports released by WWE in the new second quarter report from the fed (what…I do business at college, so I know some technical lingo!). Here’s the paragraph on the Superstars/Divas:

Our success is due primarily to the continuing popularity of our Superstars and Divas. We currently have 142 Superstars and Divas under exclusive contracts, ranging from multi-year guaranteed contracts with established Superstars to developmental contracts. Our Superstars and Divas are highly trained and motivated independent contractors, whose compensation is tied to the revenue that they help generate. Popular Superstars and Divas include: Triple H; John Cena; Batista; Shawn Michaels; Edge; Randy Orton; CM Punk; Undertaker; Rey Mysterio; Kane; Chris Jericho; Kelly Kelly; Melina; Maria and Maryse. We own the rights to substantially all of our characters, and exclusively license the rights we do not own through agreements with our Superstars and Divas. We continually seek to identify, recruit and develop additional talent for our business.

See, when we read this, we’re happy, but slightly confused. Why isn’t her popularity being capitalised on through the means of posed photos!? And how can a fed manage 142 Superstars/Divas?! These are the things that need to get drilled into Joey Styles’ head….

I didn’t think each of the updates I got for today were worth one post per newsbit, so here is everything you need to know for today in regards to Melina:

- Melina dropped off the Power 25 this week thanks to her lack of action. Don’t take it as an insult because since when did we update on P25?!

- It’s come to our attention that a Twitter account has surfaced claiming to be the legit Melina. With thanks to PJ and Paparazzi Diva, we can confirm it is a FAKE. Wanna see “Melina” fool her fans?! Click here and watch everything unfold…

- In a bit of site news, you fans have led to us getting a domain for the gallery this week! We’re not spilling what it is, but our gallery host will be getting us a lot more hits than you could ever imagine! Did you know that since moving to SoSugary, we’ve had over 45000 image views!? Again, I gotta thank you all for supporting the site, and the poll on the side is to make things good for YOU! Over the next few weeks I have left of my holidays, I’ll do what I can to get you what you want!

There’s some small hype about a new FCW Diva who’s starting out, and people are saying that her looks are “strikingly similar to Melina.” There is a reason for that, and Melina-Unlimited.Net is hear to enlighten- SHE IS A MELINA FAN! Yes, it’s as simple as that. Meet April Jeanette (aka April Mendes), a big fan of Melina’s and a friend of our super mod squad! She signed onto FCW earlier this year, and her new look is apparently similar to Melina’s outfits- incase you can’t tell which one is her, she’s in the middle. Her gimmick is playing Rosa Mendes sister…the good one, and if her past is anything to go by, MU is dubbing April the next big thing within the Divas division! As a way for you to get to know April, we’ll have her downloads of FCW up when she gets started in 2 weeks time!

We’re also hoping to get the video of her doing Melina’s split entrance! Told you she’s a Melina fan!

To be honest, I didn’t like how WWE.Com set up their preview of Melina’s second title confrontation with Michelle McCool, so I’ve taken the liberty to write one up myself! and yes, I had to make a new banner because the one they have up has an old photo…yet again. So let’s get started!

The Hype: Right, so where did we leave off at The Bash? Well, Michelle basically crushed Melina to “make history”, and that’s been McCool’s mantra for the past month. But Melina has won 2 tag matches (albeit pinning Layla- that’s what you get for pinning Melina a few weeks back!), therefore gaining momentum that we thought she would have got before The Bash. Michelle has been “playing scared” for some odd reason, and this week on Smackdown, she got an A List Makeover courtesy of her advesary, Melina.

The Prediction: As much as I would love to tell you all that I think Melina will win tonight, I just don’t see it happening. This is purely because McCool’s tyrade over Smackdown won’t end with such little time to make an impact. Yes, McCool is missing the (much needed) “Fox Factor)- that’s Alicia Fox attached to McCool- but I’m pretty sure that McCool won’t need it. Someone on Melina World Order suggested that Melina should win via disqualification, and then regain the title at Summerslam. That does seem quite realistic, so I’ll go along with that.

It’s been 3 years in the making, and now Melina and Michelle will face off for the WWE Women’s Championship! This will be one of 3 updates regarding Melina at The Bash, so I’m starting with Part One, which is my own analysis of what could happen tonight…|

The History: In 2005, MNM started a feud with Heidenreich (remember him?). Melina was smack-talking the Divas that he was “friends” with, and Michelle stood up for them by attacking Melina! On June 30th 2005, Melina pinned McCool with help from the ropes, and Michelle got a snapshot to add insult to injury.

Fast forward 4 years later, and Melina is the current WWE Women’s Champion, and Michelle wants to make history by being the first ever Diva Grand Slam Champion, and all she needs to do is beat Melina tonight to do so.
