Melina on FCW Update- MUST READ!

As we all know, Melina is set for her return to Florida Championship Wrestling tomorrow! Are you all looking forward to the kickstart of the Summer of Melina? You should be, because Melina herself cannot wait! Whilst she is quite nervous about coming back, she’s made it clear that her fans will make it worth while! Now onto the details of the events Melina is taking part in this week:

Project Melina- The Sequel

After the resounding success of our first Project Melina, I’m bringing it back, but with a MAJOR difference! Instead of giving her fan messages- you can all do that now via Twitter- I want to arrange for Melina to do something that seems very rare for the WWE Divas these days, but like last time, I’ll need your help.

Portrait Magazine is currently looking to create their first ever beauty issue, and are looking for the 20 most beautiful women in sports & entertainment to fill it out! Here is their set criteria:

- Attitude
- Style
- Career choices
- Charity and Conservation involvement
- Role Model status
- Behaviour

The top fifty most nominated will compete in a poll here at Portrait. Top twenty will feature in our first annual ’20 most beautiful’ article and the winner will cover our first ever Beauty issue. So who’s your most beautiful – the easiest on the eyes, mind and heart?

So how do we link this to Melina? Simple- she fulfils all of the criteria listed, and therefore I think she should get a nod! We’ve all been able to get to know her through her heartfelt tweets, so I think we could help out!

Next question you’re hopefully thinking is, “How do we get Melina into the magazine?” Well again, it’s very simple: Portrait has a form up where we can nominate people, which you can fill out by clicking here, and you basically got to state why you think Melina should be featured. It is advised that you use the criteria set to base your explanation on, so that they know that the A List Diva is a perfect fit! If you’d like, you can send them a link to Melina’s twitter or even us!

I’m not sure when this closes up, but I think we should get the nominations in as soon as possible!

The Random Photo Update

I’ve been sporadically adding photos to our gallery (which is the largest Melina photo archive online today!), so I thought I’d finally update on my findings. With special thanks to Devin of GailKimSource.Com, we have a scan of Melina’s promotional photo! We’ve seen it previous before but it’s still good to look at because any newish photo is a good one.

Speaking of newish, I did some more rummaging and found 3 more old retro Melina posed photos! That brings our total up to 87 exclusive photos of Melina in her modelling days! If we d find more, we’ll update sooner or later. Lastly, Melina was featured on WWE.Com (BE SHOCKED!) with a photo from the Metropolitan Washington Awards Dinner that took place in April. Forgive us for not finding it sooner- judging by the fact WWE.Com seems to have forgotten Miss Melina, we didn’t bother checking their new POTW feature!

Melina on VH1′s Undateable

As you probably heard via our (and Melina’s) Twitter account, Melina made an appearance on the new VH1 series, Undateable, which is a countdown of the 100 things that are a turn off for girls! PJ has alerted me that she wasn’t in the second episode, but I’m guessing it’s likely she’ll be on again sometime this week. For those US fans lucky enough to get VH1 programming before us, check out the show at 10pm tonight, and for the rest of this week to see if the A List Diva is making an appearance.

I am currently on the case to find the video and will cap it exclusively for those fans who are not from the US and didn’t get to see the show. Stay tuned!

Melina On Supplemental Draft Tonight

No no no…don’t let the title mislead you. Melina isn’t getting drafted (as far as we know lol), but she will be live chatting it up for the 3rd day running as the Supplemental Draft starts!

After the chaos of random draft picks on Raw Monday night, the 8th WWE Draft will conclude today at Noon ET, with the 2010 WWE Supplemental Draft, held exclusively on WWE.com and WWEUniverse.com.

Beginning at Noon ET, supplemental draft picks by Raw and SmackDown will be announced. The Supplemental Draft will be hosted by WWE Hall of Famer Howard Finkel and former Women’s and Divas Champion, Melina.
