    Thats right! Our girl Melina made a small apperance in a backstage segment with Santino just. She looked fantastic. She was one of the people who appeared when Santino was eating something. She said ‘Anything is possible’ and then left with Santino.

First off, Happy Wrestlemania! Are you guys excited- even though Melina won’t be on TV, I’m still buzzed as always. Now we’re getting down to it as we announce the match that came in first place with you as Melina’s defining match! I’ll add a photo tomorrow, but here’s the write up to Extreme Rules 2008 where Melina competed against Beth in the first ever Divas I Quit Match. After costing Beth the Women’s Championship, Melina and the Glamazon had a heated rivalry during the summer, which climaxed at Extreme Rules, where the Divas competed in the first ever I Quit Match for the WWE Divas. The match proved to be the best match in the post-Trish/Lita era, as the 2 rivals put on a women’s wrestling clinic Bret Hart would be proud of, with submissions being locked in and countered regularly. Despite hitting Beth with her best shots, the pain sustained with Beth bending Melina backwards proved too much, as Melina became the first and only Diva in history to say the 2 most dreaded words: I Quit. Thank you guys for sending in your votes!

Many Melina fans expected Michelle McCool to once again defeat Melina for the Women’s Championship after she gained the title back at The Bash. Whilst this was true, the match proved to be one of Melina’s (and Michelle’s) best bouts as they pushed the limits of PG WWE. Michelle started the fight off by kicking Melina off the apron as she was doing her entrance, and this mentality continued throughout the match. Michelle DDT’ed Melina on the top of the barrier, and Melina did an Extreme Makeover onto the mat! Once back in the ring, Michelle locked Melina into many submission holds and contorting her to the point where Melina’s foot was on her head. Melina regained momentum with some of her signature moves, but in the end, Michelle rolled Melina up for the win, leaving Melina red faced in the middle of the ring.
