All the Divas have their own separate quick entrances, but Melina is so determined to get her hands on Michelle, she doesn’t so her splits for the first time since she became a Smackdown Diva! Clearly intimidated, Michelle gets Layla to start the match, so it’s Melina and Layla to kick this match off. Quick tag into Eve sees Layla getting the advantage with some offense before tagging into McCool. Michelle puts a sleeper on Eve whilst taunting Melina (yes even Divas can multi-task during matches!). Eve “stuns” Michelle and gets the hot tag to Melina. Melina does her split kick on Layla which is smoothly transitioned into her Hollywood 411. Michelle kicks Melina in the head to stop the move, but Eve comes in and gets her out of harms way…for about 10 seconds. Michelle worms her way in with a tag and attempts a Style Clash. This is reversed into the Last Call for the pinfall for Melina! Melina and Eve celebrate after the match as Michelle and Layla look on with disgust.

Much like all the Melina fans we know through here, The Sun Online praised the Women’s Championship bout:

Also exceeding expectations were Michelle McCool and Melina, for the Women’s title. Not expected to have a classic, these two had a really good match, starting with Michelle knocking Melina from the apron during her signature splits entrance. McCool would go on to retain.

Melina comes down to the ring in a red outfit. She looks gorgeous! When Melina does her splits Michelle kicks her off of the ring. Melina gets into and laughs at Michelle. Melina spears Michelle and they start catfighting. Melina tosses Michelle over the ring and elbows in the face. Melina tosses Michelle into corner and kicks her in the face several times. Michelle gets out of ring and Melina drags her in by her hait. Michelle tells Melina to stop and Meline dropkicks Michelle in the face. Melina then kicks Michelle in gut and tosses Michelle into ropes. She runs and tries to hit Michelle but Michelle moves and she goes straight through the ropes. Michelle kicks Melinas head into the ringside barrier and drags her into the ring. Michelle grabs her leg and tries to touch it to her head. Melina manages to crawl abit but Michelle lets go. She tangles Melina up in the ropes and pushes her to the outside. Michelle goes to run and kick her but Melina dodges. They sit on the barrier and then start hitting each other. They stand on it but Michelle DDTS her on it. Michelle gets into the ring and stares down Melina whilst she lays knocked out on the floor. Melina gets into the ring and Michelle goes to kick her out but Melina pulls herself up and Michelle is out of the ring. Melina wraps her legs around Michelles leg and hits her head into the ringside post. Melina dives onto Michelle. Melina drags Michelle by her hair and tosses her into the ring. Michelle chucks Melina on the floor. Melina takes Michelle down onto the ropes and runs and jumps on her. Melina spears her into the corner and starts hitting her. Melina puts Michelle up on the ropes and jumps on her with her knee. Melina jumps into Michelle. Goes for pin and she jumps out. Melina kicks Michelle in face and hits a belly to belly suplex. Pins but Melina kicks out. Michelle spears Melina into corner but Melina hits a choppping heel. Melina jumps of ropes onto Michelle and goes for pin but Michelle counters and leans on Melina in a odd pin for the win.

Winner: Michelle McCool

I really suggest you keep it here on Melina-Unlimited tonight, as my awesome friend Maddie is going to sign in as me and provide LIVE coverage of Melina’s match tonight!! She’s also going to upload the digitals as soon as they appear on WWE.Com, so we’re going to be the first Melina site to have coverage of NOC up! I’d like to thank Maddie once again for doing this (she’s sleeping right now because in the UK, the PPV is on at 1am). To be honest, I didn’t like how WWE.Com set up their preview of Melina’s second title confrontation with Michelle McCool, so I’ve taken the liberty to write one up myself! and yes, I had to make a new banner because the one they have up has an old photo…yet again. So let’s get started!

The Hype: Right, so where did we leave off at The Bash? Well, Michelle basically crushed Melina to “make history”, and that’s been McCool’s mantra for the past month. But Melina has won 2 tag matches (albeit pinning Layla- that’s what you get for pinning Melina a few weeks back!), therefore gaining momentum that we thought she would have got before The Bash. Michelle has been “playing scared” for some odd reason, and this week on Smackdown, she got an A List Makeover courtesy of her advesary, Melina.

The Prediction: As much as I would love to tell you all that I think Melina will win tonight, I just don’t see it happening. This is purely because McCool’s tyrade over Smackdown won’t end with such little time to make an impact. Yes, McCool is missing the (much needed) “Fox Factor)- that’s Alicia Fox attached to McCool- but I’m pretty sure that McCool won’t need it. Someone on Melina World Order suggested that Melina should win via disqualification, and then regain the title at Summerslam. That does seem quite realistic, so I’ll go along with that.
