Paparazzi Diva on Melina World Order notified the forums with a new interview Melina did with KSEE24 Sports Central last night. She talks about losing her title to Michelle (and the rematch TONIGHT!), working hard to gain respect and giving words of wisdom to all the Melina-to-be’s! The captures are exclusive to the site, so please credit the site if you redistribute!

That is the name of the most recent interview Melina did with a Filipino website. She talks about the upcoming Asia tour which is starting this week:

Melina debuts a brand new red and purple outfit! Michelle with knees early, she tries a whip but Melina catches her with a back elbow. Melina with shots but Michelle catches her coming off the ropes and has her up for a choke bomb…DDT counter by Melina, and she rolls through to full mount! McCOol throws her off but Melina comes back with heavy forearms and a back body drop and a seated clothesline for 2. Melina ties McCool in the ropes, the ref breaks it and Michelle hits a dropkick to the knee. She goes to work on the leg now and gets half mount for some shots for a one count. Back to work on the leg now. She wraps the leg in the ropes for added leverage then slams it off the ring steps. McCool wedges Melina’s leg between the steps and the ring, then kicks the steps. OUCH. 2 count for McCool. Gutbuster, she holds Melina over her knee then BENDS MELINA SO HER FOOT TOUCHES HER HEAD! Ow. She tries a facewash but Melina moves and sets McCool in the corner, but McCool counters and hits a chop block. Melina fights back with a kick to the head out of a headscissors, she tries it again but McCool counters into a Faithbreaker…no! Rana by Melina! Kick by Melina hurts her own leg but gets a 2 anyway. McCool gets a kick of her own to come back but gets 2 only. She drives Melina to the corner and puts her on top and tries for a superplex…Melina pushes her off and hits a top rope facebuster for 2 before Fox puts McCool’s foot on the rope. MELINA with the kick between the ropes to Fox! She sets for the flip bomb but McCool counters and hits a SICK kick to the head! 1…2…NO! Faithbreaker connects! 1…2…3!

Winner: Michelle McCool via pinfall (Faithbreaker)

Melina accompanied MNM ringside to their match against the newly formed Legion of Doom, in which they lost their Tag Team belts! In a backstage interview, Melina guaranteed that she’d win against Torrie Wilson in their Bra and Panties match. Melina went through with her promise, stripping Torrie down to her Bra and Panties, but Torrie and special guest ref, Candice Michelle got the last laugh, leaving Melina embarassed in her B&Ps!

In a bid to get back her Women’s Championship, Melina took on Candice Michelle for the belt. Candice Michelle defeated Melina to retain the WWE Women’s Championship. Jim Ross points out an interesting fact about Candice Michelle in that she is the first person to take part in the WWE Diva Search to become Women’s champion. Another short match tonight on the card. Candice got the win with her new finisher called the Candy Wrapper (which is a modified standing bulldog/headlock) on Melina to get the pinfall to retain her title.

It’s been 3 years in the making, and now Melina and Michelle will face off for the WWE Women’s Championship! This will be one of 3 updates regarding Melina at The Bash, so I’m starting with Part One, which is my own analysis of what could happen tonight…|

The History: In 2005, MNM started a feud with Heidenreich (remember him?). Melina was smack-talking the Divas that he was “friends” with, and Michelle stood up for them by attacking Melina! On June 30th 2005, Melina pinned McCool with help from the ropes, and Michelle got a snapshot to add insult to injury.

Fast forward 4 years later, and Melina is the current WWE Women’s Champion, and Michelle wants to make history by being the first ever Diva Grand Slam Champion, and all she needs to do is beat Melina tonight to do so.

On M-U, Daily Diva photos aren’t that big of a deal because they’re mostly photos we’ve seen before. So I was pleasantly surprised that Mr Styles posted a more HQ shot from Melina’s most recent shoot, and the fact that I love that photo means that it’s worthy of an update!

I decided that the site needed a fresh look- I wasn’t really feeling the previous layout despite the fact that it was the best WP coding we’ve had! I know that I could have used Brake For Melina, but I really love Melina’s Purple Passion photoshoot, and when looking through the layout archives, I noticed I hadn’t used it in any form! So here is version 15- a Splash of Summer. I designed the layout, and I used the exclusive Fan-Sites.Org theme as a base for coding and editing of the layout. I hope you like the layout as much as I do!
